Terms of Service
Effective [date] · Operated by [legal entity name] ("PissMeOffGolf," "we," "us")
In plain EnglishUse the site to watch and share funny golf clips. Be cool, follow the rules, and know that videos are submitted by users — you watch and post at your own risk. We can remove content or accounts that break the rules.
1. Who can use PissMeOffGolf
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the site you confirm the information you give us is accurate and that you'll keep your login secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
2. Your account
- One person per account; don't share logins or impersonate others.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Community Guidelines.
- You can delete your account at any time by [method — e.g. contacting us / account settings].
3. User-submitted content & "at your own risk"
Videos and comments are submitted by users, not created or endorsed by us. We review submissions before they're published, but we can't guarantee any clip is accurate, safe to imitate, or appropriate for everyone. You watch, share, and rely on user content at your own risk, and [legal entity] is not responsible for it to the fullest extent allowed by law.
4. Posting rights & license you give us
You keep ownership of clips you submit. By submitting, you grant us a [non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free] license to host, display, reproduce, and promote your clip on and off the site (including via our embedded video provider) so we can run the service. This is covered in detail in the Content & Upload Agreement.
5. What you may not do
- Post content you don't have the rights to, or that breaks the law.
- Post anything in the "Not allowed" list in our Community Guidelines.
- Abuse, scrape, hack, or disrupt the site or other users.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, injuries from imitating stunts, or losses arising from user content. [Insert jurisdiction-specific liability cap & disclaimer language — attorney required.]
7. Indemnification
You agree to cover us for claims arising from content you submit or your misuse of the site. [Attorney to finalize.]
8. Changes, governing law & contact
We may update these terms; we'll post the new date above and, for big changes, notify you. These terms are governed by the laws of [state / country]. Questions: [[email protected]].
This is a structural draft for design purposes only and is not legal advice. A licensed attorney must review and complete it before it is published or relied upon.
Content & Upload Agreement
Shown and agreed to at every upload
In plain EnglishOnly upload videos you made or have permission to share, and make sure anyone clearly in the video is okay with being posted. You keep your video; you let us show it. We review every clip before it goes live and can decline or remove anything.
1. You confirm you have the rights
- You filmed the video, or you have permission from whoever did.
- It contains no music, footage, logos, or other material you don't have the right to use.
- Everyone clearly identifiable in the clip has agreed to appear and be posted publicly. For anyone under [18], you have a parent/guardian's permission.
2. The license you grant
You keep ownership. You grant [legal entity] a [non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable] license to store, transcode, display, distribute, and promote the clip through the site and our embedded video provider, for as long as it's posted (and a reasonable period after, for backups/legal records). You can request removal at any time per the Privacy Policy.
3. Review & publishing
Every submission is reviewed by our team before publishing. We may approve, decline, edit metadata, re-categorize, or remove any clip at our discretion — including after it's live. Approval is not an endorsement and doesn't transfer any rights to you from us.
4. Prohibited uploads
Don't upload anything that breaks our Community Guidelines or the law — including content that's stolen, dangerous-to-imitate without context, harassing, hateful, sexual, or that exposes someone's private information.
5. You accept the risk
You submit content voluntarily and at your own risk. You're responsible for your clip and any consequences of posting it. [Attorney to finalize risk & release language.]
Structural draft only — not legal advice. Have an attorney finalize before use.
